This barn restoration showcases some very unique barn features like large 20′ center aisle with large 48′ x 50′ covered ends. This dog bone layout acts as an arena run for buggy training. The buggy can make full turns on the shelter ends and the 20′ aisle is large enough for center run. The stall rear doors were replaced with custom double-track grill doors with shutters for access and ventilation control.
The apartment, lounge, and tack room were also renovated with new paint, while the rusty/leaking roof sections were completely replaced along with the gutters, downspouts, and facia. The tack room features a custom adjustable tack board. Another unique feature is the custom overhang run which allows easy access to deliver fresh shavings and waste pickup keeping the breezeway clean.
The old breezeway swing doors were sagging and falling off so custom 20′ sliding doors were properly engineered and installed. The custom breezeway doors allow horses to be turned out to the end shelters while still maintaining breezeway ventilation.
